I cannot imagine hurting any child. Children are truly innocent creatures and are all too often the victim of an adult's uncontrollable rage. It is so interesting to note that some children do not recover from a fit of rage from a parent or caretaker - causing them to become permanently disabled. The interesting part is that this type of disability (shaken baby syndrome, brain damage, becoming paralyzed) is 100% preventable!
Awareness and education are so very important! To prevent the kind of abuse that lasts forever, we all need to get involved. The costs of caring for a child with one of these disabilities can come to over one-million-dollars! Let's use that money for education instead and prevent this kind of treatment to our innocent children.
